Upcoming Events...

I've got some things to look forward to in the next couple weeks. Next weekend Melissa, Derek, and Darius are coming to visit and are going to stay with me. In two weeks Spring Break is here, so I'll be able to go home for a week and two days. While I'm home I get to be home for Katie's wedding, which I'm so excited for.

These two weeks are going to go quickly because it's midterms. Luckily, my midterms are spread out. I have one midterm next week, two the week before Spring Break, and one the week after I get back from Spring Break. It's a busy time of the year because it's half way through the semester. It's going to be over quick though because time flies.

Where Does The Time Go?!

It is so crazy that I've been in school for a month already. Time flies, especially when you're busy. I'm not at home a lot since school started. Most days I go to school, come home and do homework, and then go to bed since I have class four days a week at 8 in the morning. On Monday and Tuesday I also have FHE and Institute. I go and visit Kara for a little while sometimes too. I'm always busy, busy, busy...

I still have a lot of homework in all my classes, it definitely keeps me on my toes and there's no down time. If I don't have homework in one of my classes for once I have it in other classes. On top of that, exams have started, and I've already taken three in the past two weeks. Last Friday, I had an exam in Government, and it didn't go so well enough said. On Tuesday, I had an Animal Biology exam, Dr. Krist's exams are much easier than Dr. Ewers's last semester, I'm not going to find out my results for a week (it's a little nerve racking). Yesterday I took a Chemistry exam, and I felt really good about it after I handed it in. I looked at my grade today and I got a 93% so it was one of my best exam grades I've had in those semesters.

Next week, I have another Government exam on Monday, and a Trigonometry exam on Thursday. It's a lot of work, but it makes the time go fast, then I can go home and see my family. Spring Break is in a month, and I can't wait to go home. It is insane how fast everything happens. I started school a month ago, there's a month until Spring Break, then three weeks after I get back from Spring Break I have Easter Break, after Easter Break a month later, I'm finished with my second semester of school. CRAZY!!!

So Excited...

Tonight I got Photoshop Elements, and I'm so excited!! I really loved Digital Imaging in high school, and I've really missed taking pictures and editing them in Photoshop. Now, all I have to do is learn how to work the new program and refresh my photoshop skills!!

Since Twilight is my very favorite EVER, and I'm pretty much obsessed, the first thing I did was make a fun Twilight picture!!

Here's my work, not too good because I'm a little rusty, but what can you do?!

Busy, Busy, Busy...

I am so sick of homework already (and that's a bad thing considering I've only been in school for two weeks)!! I have homework in every class except Animal Biology. To make matters worse, I haven't even started my Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, or my Chemistry Discussion yet; things are going to get a lot busier!! I think I've written more papers this last week then I have in my entire senior year (ok not quite, but pretty close)!! All I've been doing for the last few days is homework and more homework, taking a break once in awhile to go to Kara's and play with the kids and watch basketball!!

Ok, so maybe I was over reacting just a little. It's not too unbearable it just seems like a lot. It's only going to get worse, so I might as well get used to it. I have still found time to hang out with my friends and practice my Guitar Hero skills (I think Emi could take me though). I really like school a lot (is that weird?). My professors are really cool, especially my Biology professor and English teacher. They make it a lot of fun to learn from them, and you feel like you can ask them questions and you won't feel dumb, which is a plus!!!

Well, I've got to go get ready to go to church!! I like being able to sleep in, but I don't like getting out so late. I go from 1:00-4:00, not fun but that's ok :). It could be worse.

Back in the Swing of Things...

I came back to Laramie on the 11th, the day before school started. The roads were perfect, and the weather was nice while I was hauling my stuff in. School started Monday the 12th, and I woke up to snow on the ground (what a great way to start the new semester!!) I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I like my new classes. This semester I'm taking American and Wyoming Government, Animal Biology, Chemistry II, English, Trigonometry, and a Health Science class. I've got a pretty busy schedule, but that's a good thing. I decided I needed to get a little more social, and so far I've done something every night. I have to say it's a lot more fun to go and hang out with other people. :)

I already had homework, and I can tell that this semester is going to be a lot more work than last semester was. It's not bad because now I'm used to how the University works and it's going to be a lot of fun.

I've done some redecorating in my house since Kylie moved out at the end of last semester. I also got my Christmas present all set up and it's great!!

Home, Sweet Home...

I love getting to see my family, and not having to worry about schoolwork or anything for an entire month!! I just get to hang out. On Friday I went and watched Four Christmases with Michael Montanez, but before I left Dani & I snapped some pictures together.
*My eyes are opened really wide and I don't really know why*

Take My Advice...

It is so nice to be back in Lovell for Christmas. Even though I've only been here a little over a week, lots has happened.

First after I got into Lovell on the twelfth (Friday), I came to my house for about a half hour and then went up to Billings to stay with Melissa. The roads from Laramie to Lovell were great and so were the roads from Lovell to Billings. The next day was a totally different story. Overnight it snowed so much, and I couldn't get home. The road was closed from Lovell to Billings, which I've never heard of happening before. I was a little bumbed since it was my birthday, but Melissa and I had a really fun time.

On Tuesday I had a dentist appointment: a cleaning in the morning at 10:00, and then to see Scotty at 1:00. I knew it had been awhile since I had last been to the dentist, but come to find out I hadn't been there in 10 YEARS!!!!! I couldn't believe it. On top of that I had 11 cavities, 3 of which were so deep the lady that cleaned my teeth thought they could be a root canal.

Scotty was sick and couldn't make my appointment on Tuesday, so I went in again on Thursday to get some of my cavities filled. So I got to go to the Lovell vs. Rocky game with a numb mouth (not very fun!!).

I was supposed to have a dentist appointment yesterday at 10:00 in the morning, but he was running way behind. Once again I was reschedualed and went in this morning at 8:00!!! Boy was I tired & really didn't want to go, but I figured I might as well get it over with. So now I have about half of my cavities filled and get to come back again for spring break and go get some more filled!!!

So, take my advice.... DON'T WAIT TEN YEARS TO GO TO THE DENTIST, NOT FUN!!
