Christmas & the Rest of Break.....

Christmas morning didn't start too early this year, around 8 or 9. I'm so grateful for my parents and everything they do for us. They try to make sure we all have a great holiday and get us lots of amazing gifts. I really wanted to get my parents something special for Christmas but was really struggling with what to get them. We ordered a mounted wall art picture from Shutterfly of the Salt Lake Temple, which is where they were sealed when they got married. It turned out really nice, and I was pleased with it.
We spent the rest of the day being lazy and playing with our new presents. Later that night, we went to Kara's to see what the kids got for Christmas from Santa & their parents. It was a low key day, but was great to spend the day with family.

The next week it was time for Emi's birthday. I can't believe my baby sister is already 17. The favorite gifts we got for her were displays for all her sports awards. She amazes me with how she excels in everything she does. She's so talented. I'm proud to be her sister and can't brag enough about her. She's one of my best friends and couldn't imagine our family without her. We spent the night with Kara & her family again for some homemade pizza, cupcakes, & a night filled with games. I'm pretty boring, I rang in the New Year in my bed watching a movie in the dark (pretty sure that's a sign that I'm getting old).
The rest of break I spent hanging out at home, making some blankets on my new sewing machine, playing my guitar, and spending time with my family. Of course we had to make a trip down to the drug store for some of the famous Lovell Drug ice cream, which is definitely the best in town. We also spent lots of time out at Kara's house playing games and watching tv with the kiddos.
Christmas Break went by way too quick. It was a nice break and I enjoyed all the time I got to spend with my family. I'm so grateful for everything that they do for me. I can't believe I'm already back at school with my first week already under my belt. Only 15 weeks to go until I'm done with school work forever!

Birthday & New Years Celebration...

I can't believe that my baby sister is 16 years old! She had her birthday on New Years Eve. We started the day out early, so Emi could do her treasure hunt and open her presents before my dad went to work and she had to go to basketball practice. She couldn't wait, so my mom took her to Cody to get her driver's license that day [So watch out Lovell because she's on the road & she's legal (Just kidding Emi, you're a pretty good driver- not that you read this very much, but just in case!)]!!
We spent the day listening to her play her new guitar, and relaxing. That night, we had Kara, Jase, and the kids, up to eat dinner (homemade pizza), eat dessert (brownies), and play games (Apples to Apples). It was a laid back night, and since Emi was legal to drive on her own she ended her birthday bringing in the new year by driving around with her friends.
Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby sister. I'm so proud of her and all that she's accomplished!

Birthday Post.....

I've been quite the slacker about blogging over Christmas break. It went by super quick, but I got to do tons of fun stuff. I got done with finals on the 12th and headed for Lovell as soon as I turned in my exam. I lucked out that even though finals were a week later then they have been, I was still able to be done with the semester for my birthday.

My birthday was pretty relaxed because my dad & Emilee had to go to work & school, and I didn't want to wake up early to open presents before they left. After school was done, Emi had a basketball game in Powell. We spent the night cheering on the Bulldogs, eating Pizza Hut pizza, and finally opening my presents.
We decided since it was going to be a late night, that we would wait until Friday to have my birthday dinner and dessert. It was fun to spread the celebration out over a couple of days.
I'm so grateful for my family and everything they've done for me and making me feel special on my big 23!! It was an amazing day, and couldn't have asked for anything better.

New Toy.....

For my birthday I got a new toy. A Canon Rebel, and I absolutely love it! Ever since I took Digital Imaging in high school, I've loved taking pictures. Especially from different angles and perspectives than most people look at. We used Canon Rebels throughout all my classes and I've wanted one of my own ever since.
I'm nowhere near as talented as Kara is and am rusty on the few skills I did have when I was in school. Hopefully now that I have a nice camera for my own, I'll be able to practice and get better. I'm so happy my mom and dad got me one of these, it's the best!

Birthday Wishes.....

There are more birthdays in the Reasch household. Yesterday was my mom's birthday & today is Melissa's birthday!! I'm so grateful for these amazing ladies in my life who !

My mom is the best mother anyone could as for! She's such a hard worker & will do anything for anyone, without expecting anything in return. She has one of the biggest hearts ever. Our family is her whole life, and she puts us & our needs before herself no matter what. She's always there for me whenever I need someone to talk to or need help with anything. I've grown to appreciate her more & more since I've been away at school. Now I can really see everything that she truly does for us & helping make our house the way it is & the feelings we have there. She's such a spiritual lady, who has a very strong testimony, and I'm so thankful for the example she is to me.

Happy Birthday yesterday, Mom... I Love You So Much!!
Melissa is one of my best friends! I don't know what I'd do without her. She's always there when I need someone to talk to & vent my feelings to. She gives me advice because she's gone through some of the same things that I'm struggling with. She's an awesome mother to Darius. She's such a hard worker and is very determined to finish whatever she starts. I'm so grateful she's my sister & friend. I've been blessed with the greatest family ever, I'm so extremely lucky!!

Happy Birthday Lissy.... I Love You Lots!!

Yesterday was Dani-Lyn's birthday... she turned 18 & is officially an adult!!We woke up yesterday morning at 7:30 so Dani could open her presents before my dad went to work. After that I helped her get her presents figured out. The rest of the afternoon we spent relaxing & went on a ride.
Later on Kara & her family came up for dinner and cake. She wanted Stuffed Peppers for dinner and cheese cake & chocolate pie for her dessert. After that she went to the mountains with her friends and camped out. Later when she left Kara, Emi, her friend Dylan, and I went to watch Eclipse. It was sooo good!!

Fun Weekend....

On July 2nd my beautiful sister Danielle celebrated her 17th birthday....As a birthday present I decided to stay home from work and clean Dani's room (it ended up taking me over 3 hours)! Wow she's getting old :) Happy Late Birthday Dani....

The 4th of July was really fun at the Reasch house this year....
After sleeping in, cleaning the house, and getting ready, Emilee, Danielle, my Dad, Melissa, Derek, and Derek's niece Jasmine headed out to Darnells and rode 4-wheelers. My mom and I stayed home from all the fun and babysat Darius. Now it would have been fun to get to ride the 4-wheelers but I was excited that I got to have some undivided Darius time (and I only had to share with my mom, now that I can handle)!! He is sooo cute and he's growing up so fast.

After everyone got home we lit off some day time fireworks like smoke bombs and bottle rockets to pass the time, had a fun BBQ in the backyard with the whole family (including Kara and her family), lit off some more daytime fireworks, and then got ready for the main event. Not all of us were too jazzed because Jacob hates fireworks, he plugs his ears if he even thinks there's a possibility there might be noise and when it came time to light off the big fireworks he hid under a blanket and fell asleep....We had some really good fireworks and had a great time together as a family! It was also really fun to have Derek's niece down here to spend time with us and she seemed like she had a lot of fun.... After my family fireworks I headed out to see Mikey for a few minutes at his family reunion at the Oasis and where talked and hung out for a little bit. I had a really fun 4th of July...

Summer seems to be going pretty quickly and before I know it school is going to be starting up. I can't believe my mom is already doing Girls' Camp...CRAZY!!! Wow how time flies.
